Server RAID has problems

Just want to inform you that recently the server RAID seems to have problems.

I've never used a linux RAID before so I don't know how to interpret the error messages at the moment.
The RAID was just configured out of the box when the server got installed by the provider.
And it worked without any problems till now.

Now it seems to have some hardware or software problems.
I have to read and check what it going on there.

Maybe the hardware (one of the two HDs or both HDs) is broken and would have to be changed.
Don't know.
Software hickups/problems could be possible too.

Yesterday when I updated and restarted the server, it took quite long till I could log in again (about 10 times longer as usual).
So it seems that the server had problems while booting or it was trying to do some repairs or something like that.

I will try to check that as soon as possible.
I hope that everything can be recovered without downtime or total reinstall.

Little update.
It seems the whole second harddisk in the raid is simply gone/defect.
I've sent a support request email to replace that disk.
Don't know how long it will take until my request is read and processed.
I think the provider will have to stop the server to change the disk.
So its possible that the server will go offline soon.
I'll have to restart the game servers then by hand.
So it possible that they stay offline when I'm not at home at this time.

What RAID configuration they have?

It is a RAID 1.
So the whole HDD is mirrored to a second equal HDD.
And that second HDD is broken at the moment.

Bad news.
The server provider does not replace any hardware.
Instead he would replace the whole server only.
That means I would have to setup a new server and install and restore everything by hand.
That would even be harder as the last server migration where I had 2 servers running in parallel.
Don't know if I really want to do that.
Donations are low too.
So maybe the interest in the servers is decreasing.
Maybe I'll let it run with only 1 HDD till the server dies forever then.
