Root server broken somehow

Got the new root server now.
Starting with the first setup steps.

Bok, Myljach!! Hvala for your words!! I am happy to know I´m not the only prey of a game that has the power to transform the people physically and internally into other creatures through avatars. With you it wreaked havoc on your face, rotted to death, but by becoming a zombie is their way of beautifies you, so you looks perfect for L4D!! In my case, it was worse, it changed my soul once it presented me a she-demon long ago and now I am eternally doomed to hell and the lake of fire and sulfur D: From Moyete to Moy666!! I also take this opportunity to thank Albert for have known (unconsciously) how to attract the one of a kind delicious-demented-diabolical-female-mind I ever met. I can't wait for the server to be up again thanks for making some time to set things up even from the new empty server they gave you, too bad they didn't help much getting some data back to make things easier... wish I could help

Lot of things are different on the new root server with newer Ubuntu OS 16.04.
I've recovered only 27018 for now (other servers will follow asap).
There are only 3 custom maps for the moment (other will come soon).
So please use 27018 and test everything you could imagine.

Ok I will ask to Myl to test the server together.

If others players want to play, don´t hesitate and play with us helping us to test server stability with more players.

2 soldiers ready to attack testing Sir!

We just played 2 campaigns, Dead Center and a custom one 25 to life. Server seems to be running as good as always and there were no noticeable bugs, sever was full as soon as people realized it was back up so nice to see all working again!

server has an old version of 7 Hours Later II custom map or something is wrong with this map, I ´m getting error

Map does not match the version on the server.
(String table differs)

Map list show latest version [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]


Another thing, even if server is online, sometimes sourcebans page show server as offline.


P.S: Tested!!! I had an old L4D2 installations and 7 Hours Later II version 3.0 it was there, I copied/pasted to my current L4D2 installation and I can connect running this version, so server is running an old version of 7 Hours Later II version 3.0 instead 4.0

Every bit of information is useful.

map:
It seems that the internal FTP backup space had an old version of the map just like you found out.
This could happen now about 100 times with the other maps too :-)

sourcebans:
Yes, I can see that now too.
It worked at the beginning but not anymore.
Also HLstatsX does not work properly.
The 2 major problems seems to be:
1) both sourcebans and HLstatsX are not really compatible with PHP7 only with the old PHP5 (mysql -> mysqli extension). There are some workarounds around on the web. I'm testing them but each of them seems to be buggy somehow.
2) Newer MySQL server version is more strict and some queries in hlstatsx and sourcebans are not allowed anymore. So they need to be rewritten. I'll testing what I can do about that.

This is what I meant with the root server OS and software packages are newer.
So the OS and software configuration is different now too.

Couple details, only that.
Selfhelp using painpills take faster, like u take adrenaline. I think that is adjusting some cvars, but that i think is part of polishing, after revive servers.

Maybe backup has stored an old selfhelp adjust faster than before and later Albert adjusted this speed after last backup.

Anyway, Selfhelp in Realism server was a little slow than Coop 18 and Coop 19 in Expert difficulty, if Hunter catch you then you had no time for selfhelp, need to be ajusted 1 or 2 seconds faster.

Server config files should be up to date already.
So I don't know why selfhelp should be wrong.
This needs to be investigated then.

2019 works fine! Cassual problems, but makeup stuff, like beldura spawn under map.

Only in votemap menu u have on second page  discraper redoux - 7 choice

7 hours later works fine!

Should be fixed now.
Only 1 list entry for Diescraper in the votemap menu.

All L4D2 servers are running now.
Added some more custom maps to the servers.

from there lookslike down but not. That is concidered for all where is massage gametracker - server not found.
