Server Update to 2.1.2.5

Wut a other update? Valve missing again something

The old server install does not work anymore.
The server has to be updated now with steamcmd.
metamod and sourcemod is not working anymore.
Update not possible.
Dont want to run a plain vanilla shitty dedicated server.
We will have to wait for new metamod and sourcemod and plugins etc.

Time to go back to No-Steam. Shit Valve.

Soon I will start updating the servers to 2.1.2.5 one by one.
I don't know which plugins and stuff is not working anymore because of the new metamod and sourcemod.
I will start with the 27016 first.
The 27017 is an exact copy of the 27016 so go there if you want to have some Realism fun.
I will keep you informed about the progress here in this topic.

We should only test with one server at time, no rev emu for 2125 at time. Gungame should stay so long st old patch. But nice we start to test now.

Yes, I'm testing with 27016 only.
But there are major problems with the glibc version.
In the worst case a newer Linux has to be installed.
And then switch to Ubuntu too.
But I still hope to find another solution.

After some struggling it seems to work.
alServ2016 is updated now to 2.1.2.5
The remaining servers will follow later one by one.

Some problems I have recognized:

1)
Had a crash when loading the map c13m3_memorialbridge
Nothing to see in the log files.
Seems to happen before on other map too.
Not sure.
Maybe this is a new problem which came from the updates.

2)
Multislot plugin is broken too maybe.
I had some strange behavior.
I spawned dead as 5th player.
Adding a bot manually only created another dead bot.
Maybe this problem was present before too on Realism.
Have to have an eye on that.

Like I said no error in any log file visible.

Tell me if you see other strange things.

Important note for the GunGameMod server:
Rank was gone with my nosteam client.
My legit client loaded the rank fine.
Tell me if your nosteam client rank is loaded or not.
Maybe the huge nosteam client SFK update broke something.
Don't know.

Note:
It takes some time to update a server. A lot of manual steps have to be done. I can do it only one by one.

Rank is broken for nosteam clients.
Steam clients are working fine.
No idea what the problem is.
Maybe the RevEmu.
Like I said the latest RevEmu does not work.
I'm out of options at the moment.
The only solution is to buy the game.

Well at big gamebreakes like 2051 -> 2052 its normal that rev generade new id. big steamupdates will breake rev emu. next big part: convert all steam ids in database XDDDDDD

IDs are still the same.
This is not the problem.
Nosteam clients cannot authenticate somehow.
They can connect but something else is broken in metamod sourcemod or revemu.
Don't know.
Our nosteam Admins won't have admin permissions anymore.
Nothing I can do about it.

Further problem noticed is that nosteam clients cannot have any admin permissions anymore (SteamID is still the same).
I've tested this with my nosteam client.
I don't know the root cause for that at the moment.
But I think when fixing this problem the GunGameMod rank will work again for nosteam clients.

Rank on GunGameMod for nosteam clients and admin permissions for nosteam clients should work now.
alServ2018 & alServ2019 need a restart.
On the other servers it should work already.
