Hunter Knife Problem

The pimp to escape a Hunter with a knife seems not to work.
At least I see the message on the screen to use knife.
Then I see the knife has been used to escape a Hunter.
But the Hunter is still sitting on me.

The hunter has to muche health, knife deal not a instantkill, only do damagepoints. the message will come anytime, no mater if you can kill the hunter or not.
