Problem with the root server

Currently the root server is not starting anymore.
At the moment I don't know what the problem is.
I will look into it when I find some time.

Anyway it seems that there is only little interest in the servers.
Donations are getting lower and lower.
Maybe the end of the server is reached a little earlier.

Well, after some fiddling around with serial remote console and hard resetting via server providers web access, I could restart the root server again.

I'll check some log files now.

I could not find anything interesting in the log files.
According to the log files the server shut down and restarted 1h later.

Is there possibility to server provider made hardware maintenance 1 or 2 per year, and physically shut down machines? And something happened like that?

No.
I made the reboot by myself after some maintenance (cleanup/backup/etc).
I do this every weekend.
But today the server just did not start anymore for about 1h.
