Plan for a forum's overhaul

Dear Guys, Dear Ladies, Dear Tron and other alien species...

I've been afk for a long time now.
I'm back in business.
I've abandonned my job on the forum and it became a bit messy in here :
Hard to find a particular topic, not enough specific and clear forums, missing icons, no more comics, etc...
So.
I grab my broom and my hammer and rebuild the place, for you, for us, for survivors of the internet galaxy...

Tell me what you think is important to work on !!!
We got already thinked about some essentials modifications to make.

What's your opinion ?
What do you wish or don't wish to see in da place.
another forum organization, more zombie porn,  specific pages, a new chat more easy to access...

 Whatever you think is essential, tell it here or keep it silent forever

I won't shut down the forum to work on it.
So you should see some modifications appearing while you roam on the differents pages...

Some new forums, will be created, after the new architecture is discussed with the team and validated, then some topics will be moved in...

And all that stuff will be more clear and easy to use.

I'll try to work stealthy and to be effective to get a better site.

When you talk about an overhaul, there is much work to be done as you said yourself. Personally i could suggest a balance between black and others colors.

Links to social media profiles in the footer would be good too if possible to add, like Steam Group, Facebook and even link to Youtube profiles of players that created videos/tutorials for L4D and L4D2.

Well i add my puplic stuff in my signature. Otherway, you can go to members list and look the puplic stuff like facebook steam ect. This side has sadly no add for youtube but well^^

Seigneur pufonel , alBert is fond of the planks background...
I've toshoped a L4D comics background, but every survivors we're afraid will spend their time reading the comics rather than the forum itself  

I'm looking for new themes and colors... I'll keep you informed.

Like said xeno, all the social links can be found in the "members" section...
If one or two miss, tell me, i can add skype and other things like that.

edit. I found an ugly social toolbar but i can't modify it without paying !

I understand, it looks really good at night when accessing the forum. The way that info`s are displayed on the main page gives the forum an mobile kind of look... in a positive way.

Never accessed the members section, will do that later on.

Keep looking for that theme that integrates the background that Albest likes so much, as i am looking to install L4D2 or not since i have uninstalled recently

Work finished on the forum :

A new sub-forum named Custom campaign review (Review about our favorites "must play" custom campaigns) has been created under the global infos section .

Another one named hardware (Server hardware, server software, plugins and plugins source code, plugins configuration...) has been created under the Pile of ammo section for the geeks.

The update sub-forum has been deleted, because every links were out of date, and i'm sure the non steam players will find what they need by themsleves in case of game update.

The forum has been reorganized and a lot of post have been moved to the proper sub-forums to find your way more easily in there.

New little icons and banners, new birthday message (yes we're cute)  

Members have ranks & titles now.
Ranks are :
Walking dead for the members
Running dead for game admins and moderators of specific forum
Sprinting dead for admins

A new group (title) "apocalypse journalist" has been created to manage the custom campaign review. See with [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] if you want to participate.

But most of the job is done, i'll spend the next evening to play
