Hey guys... ermmm well most of you probably don't know me (yet hehe) but I was a former player at other server where some of the rest of the popular guys are from (like Ralf and also TEKneek), I recently came back to online playing and it's really nice to see there's still an awesome comunity where I can find my old friends and new ones and since I don't plan on going anywhere in a while I'll try to make donations as well. BTW congrats to Al for all the work he has clearly put into the servers, from the webdesign to all the mods and little details in it.

Buuuut that's not the point, I wanted to suggest something to keep up the server and well... even if we all hate them, it's adds... I don't know how many of you come here (to the web page) every day or not but I personally check often who's playing and I wouldn't mind having a pop-up or two if I know it's for the sake of the servers. I don't know if Al has considered this before, but I see lot's of room in the page desing where I'd put some adds to make money... Just not... porn or anything xD

There is a banner already.
Also, as far as i know Google AdSense is shit.
The forum is gonna need huge trafic in order to create a "decent" revenue.
I can count in my fingers the resident people who visiting it every day.

But again, something more "positive" from me, it's not a bad idea.
As long as the ads are not NSFW (as you said) or stupid, i may considering disable ad-block here.

P.S. Pop-Up's can go to hell.

why not, this is a good idea, just must find and convince advertizer to pay for a banner.
And not only banner, i see existing some plugin in-game to watch minions or troll on wall, so maybe use this plugin, to put banner in wall materials inside of levels of game.
Question is what cind of banners? Kaufland, Lidl, computer shop, or personal ( banner inside of game like: Grandmaster is best player ewer, or Kioshi Niccole is best Katana slayer )
