That's true. Good community means much more than any other reason.
This server have probably the best l4d community in my experience. Except 2022 - it is full of shitty players.

I think Alberts reaction was impulsive, in this moment he had a couple problems in loot of stages of community ( ban Grandmaster and again insulting problems in server, then server RAID drop dead, and nobody cares about donations, and so on)

Albert, when i read forum posts history, i see how much effort is here, custom maps, plugins, define CVars, and jour admins allvajs watch and react ewery day (sourceban history), so it will be wery sad to shut down alserv, and you make great Job.

Snakecharmed, thats true, I also played before in other servers, and there you have lot of: mic spam, kickvote, lousy players, teamkilling, and evildeadUK supejump arena im permanent ban because i better play than rest of team, allways first in safe room, when other practice WASD.
Here you have peace, and CVars and other, health of infected, speed are good optimized.

It will be great damage for comunity to quit now, since this exists 2 Years if i remember. This game have a great potential, since i play L4D from 2008.

I would like to join in the donations once I get my salary from my workplace (can take 2 or 3 days to get it to my bank account and also a few days to get it to Paypal but if somebody can help me how to get my money to Paypal without paying any fee that would be grateful) because right now I'm completely empty .

The amount I will donate monthly will be either 10 or 12 euro, maybe a bit more. I can promise you that. I thoroughly thought this over and came to the decision that the situation may not change and more likely there will not be any more donations than right now so I thought I would join in with a "big " donation because I really enjoy this server. A little zombie killing after work always feels nice to me and I would be extremely sad if the servers I love so much would be closed because of this stupid missing money issue which could be easly solved with the cooperation of many players who play here regularly.

You don't need to do anything special.
Just connect your bank account with your paypal, and send via "Send money to friends and family" option, so far only this variant allow to donate without fee.
Paypal will take money from your bank account automatically

Alright, thanks. I will take a look at it. BTW will this option display the payer's name ? But anyway I wouldn't worry since the bank account I get my money transferred to is registered to my cousin's personal details aka it's his bank account.

Did you send it via "send money to friends"?

Did you send it via "send money to friends"?

it is time for... You know what...
i just pay my 3 Euros directly trough paypal. So server can be alive. Awaiting others to follow me in my intentions. I will be not available about 12 days, i am on Vacattion, und ich gehe uns Meehr, ja ja
I must say latest days, 2021 gungame mod is fully of new players who found that interesting, some of them are general rank, and sometimes play about 7-8 players. I record it with fraps, but must edit so post to youtube and forum when im back. When difficulity swithes to hard, than you may see Tank tveaks (meteor tank and so on)
2022 versus in my timezone also have new players, each other salute and remember selfs from before, and it is pleasure to play with them, no dirty language, or ignoring server rules last days.
